Christi Flaherty represents school districts and private sector employers in employment discrimination cases, labor negotiations and personnel actions. 

Christi has successfully defended employers in both federal and state court, as well as before arbitrators.  She also has counseled school districts on the discipline and discharge of tenured teachers and has defended school districts in unfair labor practice charges before the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board.  In addition, Christi regularly counsels employers on preventative actions, including drafting employment policies and advising employers on preventing abuse of sick leave policies.

Prior to graduating from law school, Christi interned with the Labor Division of the Missouri Attorney General's Office, the Equal Opportunity Commission. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and the American Civil Liberties Union.  Her law school coursework concentrated on Employment and Constitutional Law, with an emphasis in employment discrimination and First Amendment issues.  She earned a certificate in Employment Law from the William C. Wefel Center for Employment Law at St. Louis University School of Law.  Prior to joining Doster Mickes, Christi defended employers in workers' compensation cases and represented Illinois school districts for a Chicago-based law firm.

She has volunteered as an attorney coach in the Bar Association of Metropolitan St .Louis program "Teens Speak Out," has served as a Junior Achievement instructor in the St. Louis Public School District, and has judged the Missouri High School Mock Trial competition.
